چکیده

To study controlled evolution of non-autonomous matter-wave solitons in spinor Bose-Einstein condensates with spatiotemporal modulation, we focus on a system three coupled Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) equations space-time-dependent external potentials and temporally modulated gain/loss distributions. An integrability condition non-isospectral Lax pair for the GP are obtained. Using it, derive an infinite set dynamical invariants, first two which mass momentum. The Darboux transform is used to generate one- two-soliton solutions. Under action different distributions, various solutions both ferromagnetic polar types obtained, such as self-compressed, snake-like stepwise solitons, well breathers. In particular, formation states resembling rogue waves, under sign-reversible gain-loss distribution, demonstrated too. Shape-preserving changing interactions between bound addressed this context, spin switching arises polar-ferromagnetic interaction. Stability verified by means systematic simulations their perturbed evolution.

Multicomponent gap solitons in spinor Bose-Einstein condensates

We model the nonlinear behavior of spin-1 Bose-Einstein condensates BECs with repulsive spinindependent interactions and either ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic polar spin-dependent interactions, loaded into a one-dimensional optical lattice potential. We show that both types of BECs exhibit dynamical instabilities and may form spatially localized multicomponent structures. The localized stat...

Matter-Wave Bright Solitons with a Finite Background in Spinor Bose-Einstein Condensates

We investigate dynamical properties of bright solitons with a finite background in the F = 1 spinor Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC), based on an integrable spinor model which is equivalent to the matrix nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a self-focusing nonlineality. We apply the inverse scattering method formulated for nonvanishing boundary conditions. The resulting soliton solutions can be re...

Vortex molecules in spinor condensates

Condensates of atoms with spins can have vortices of several types; these are related to the symmetry group of the atoms’ ground state. We discuss how, when a condensate is placed in a small magnetic field that breaks the spin symmetry, these vortices may form bound states. Using symmetry classification of vortex charge and rough estimates for vortex interactions, one can show that some configu...

Persistent currents in spinor condensates.

We create and study persistent currents in a toroidal two-component Bose gas, consisting of 87Rb atoms in two different spin states. For a large spin-population imbalance we observe supercurrents persisting for over two minutes. However, we find that the supercurrent is unstable for spin polarization below a well-defined critical value. We also investigate the role of phase coherence between th...

Stable Skyrmions in spinor condensates.

Globally symmetric spinor condensates in free space are argued not to support stable topological defects in either two or three dimensions. In the latter case, however, we show that a topological Skyrmion can be stabilized by forcing it to adopt certain density profiles. A sufficient condition for the existence of Skyrmion solutions in three dimensions is formulated and illustrated in simple ex...
